Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne.

We are recruiting **Lifestyle Assistants/Home Care Workers** to join our lifestyle team to support home care package clients during group activities (in community halls or outings) and in their homes.

Main location of work will be in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

This is a **casual **position.

**Role**:
You will provide quality care to clients during group activities (in community halls or outings), and in the client's homes (for home care services).

Duties during group activities include:

- Work with the lifestyle coordinator to assist delivery of activities
- Personal care assistance
- Transport assistance (must be able to drive 12-seater van)
- Documentation/reporting as required

Home care duties include:

- personal care
- domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
- in-home respite
- providing companionship
- Documentation/reporting as required

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability
- _**Ability to speak Khmer, Serbian or Dari is desired**_
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance (must be able to drive 12-seater van)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
