Exciting new opportunity as a mechanical fitter within a specialist manufacturing business in Fyshwick
**Your new company**
Join the team as a full-time mechanical fitter for a specialist timber manufacturing business in Fyshwick. Due to someone moving on into a new opportunity, the client has a full-time ongoing vacancy within their team.
**Your new role**
In this position you will work Monday to Friday starting at 8am finishing at 4pm Monday and 2pm Fridays. You will be responsible for:
- Working to fit and assemble metal parts to fabricate production machines, front end loaders and mobile plant equipment.
- Working as part of a team to ensure work is completed safely
- Conducting preventative maintenance and fixing breakdowns
**What you'll need to succeed**
To fit into this role you will have;
- A trade qualification in mechanical fitting or extensive experience assisting mechanical fitters as a trade assistant
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- An updated CV and a contactable reference from your last role
- PPE including steel cap boots and a high viz shirt
**What you'll get in return**
The successful applicant will receive, stable working hours, a weekly pay check for all hours worked, including overtime when worked as well and the following;
