Our client; a National Leader in the Plastics Manufacturing now have an exciting opportunity for **EXTRUSION MACHINE OPERTORS / TECHNICIANS** to join their growing team**.**

You will have the opportunitiy to work in a state of the art Factory and work for a Multi National company.

Pay rate will be $38 - $39 per hours for the 12 hour shift and any day worked not rostered will be paid at an overtime rate for whole shift.

Sydney West Location. **12 Hour Shifts in a Rotating 24/7 Roster (Includes Weekend Work)**. IMMEDIATE Start for the right applicants. temp - permanent role.

**Your duties will include, but will not be limited to the following**:

- Quality Assurance, ensuring products are within required standards
- Measuring Products diameter continuously
- Operating plastic extrusion machine
- manual handling / forklift operating
- General factory duties where required
- Experience with Micrometer preferred but not essential
- Updating extrusion reports on a daily basis

**To be successful for this role, you MUST**:

- Have previous experience with Plastic Profile Extrusion Machinery / Plastics Industry
- previous experience with Polyethylene
- ** Have a current LF Forklift Licence OR Willing to obtain one**:

- Have a great work ethic with reliability and commitment
- Have good mechanical aptitude with the mindset to work unsupervised
- Have a "can do" attitude with an ability to be part of a team
- Have a high attention to detail
- able to commence ASAP
- Good communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- Safety conscious
- Have your own reliable transportation
- ** Have the ability to work on a 7 day 24hr rotating roster (including Day / Night shifts & weekends)**

Previous Experience Within The Plastics Industry Would be Highly **DESIRABLE**, however a strong background in manufacturing and stable work history will also be Taken into consideration.
