Junior Conveyancer

**The role**

We are currently looking for an Junior conveyancer to join our Perth Property team on a full time basis.

Your duties will include document preparation and file management; drafting correspondence, undertaking verification of identity tasks, attending to lodgements (the traditional way and via PEXA) liaising with clients and solicitors and organising and attending settlements. The conveyancing work involves assisting with both commercial and residential sales and purchases, off-the-plan sales, and general commercial conveyancing.

You will be working directly with a partner, number of lawyers and Licensed Conveyancer with the opportunity to have a variety of work and a degree of autonomy commensurate with your experience level. We act for a range of developers, financial institutions and property investors, fund managers and privately owned investment groups.

**Who would be suited**

To be successful in this role you will have some experience as a conveyancer residential property practice. You must have exceptional communication skills, solid understanding of conveyancing and time management skills.

It is essential that you have strong organisational and file management skills, experience with time entry and electronic billing and a proactive attitude. An eye for detail, strong service orientation and enthusiastic approach to your work is also important.

Ideally you will also have:

- advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate level skills in Excel;
- experience using PEXA and other online platforms commonly used by conveyancers; and
- experience using Aderant Expert or similar time recording package, and FileSite or similar document management system.
