- Roster: Monday to Sunday rotating roster with morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including Public Holidays
- Work across Chermside and Taringa properties

**The Role**

As a Guest Service Agent (internally known as Front Office Receptionist) you will be a friendly face and first point of contact for our guests. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Achieve a positive guest experience and outcomes
- Promote our properties to maximise room occupancy and revenue using up selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities at every opportunity
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of room rates, packages, services, etc.
- Acquire knowledge of the local areas and the facilities and services close by

**About You**

Attitude is everything in this position. We are looking for a reliable team player with a can-do attitude. Your engaging and bubbly personality along with your exceptional communication skills will contribute to enhancing overall guest experience from check-in through to check-out. You will be okay with working in a changing environment, and will have the ability to remain calm, efficient and organised during peak periods. Solid admin and computer skills are also essential in this role.

Whilst previous hotel or conferencing events experience will be highly regarded, it is not essential if you have the motivation to succeed in this role.
