**Your new role**
You will be responsible for providing clinical advice, treatment and referral service information duties will include:

- Assess client needs and provide a written plan coordinating the delivery of a range of services in complex situations including accommodation, treatment and other relevant services to meet client needs.
- Prepare and present accurate, responsive reports and advice in a court environment.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records and provide statistical reports in line with organisational standards.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with the Judiciary, legal profession and court staff in relation to the management of clients within the court process and advise regarding the availability of appropriate services and programs.
- Initiate, negotiate and facilitate linkages and access for clients with a range of appropriate services in line with program requirements.
- Provide advice and education to the Court on relevant issues as they affect the administration of the court.
- Deal with and resolve complex problems to ensure that service levels are maintained and enhanced.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary professional staff on issues relevant to the management of clients.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Demonstrated clinical experience with knowledge of AOD.
- Resilience and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications in welfare, drug and alcohol or other related field are essential.
- DHS Clinical Drug Assessor’s accreditation (desirable)
- Alcohol and other Drug Workforce Minimum Qualification Core Competencies or Certificate IV or higher in AOD studies (desirable).
