Officers to be considered for casual relieving employment. The Learning
Diversity Officer works in collaboration with the Assistant Principal - Learning,
Teaching and Innovation and the Head of Learning Diversity.

Salesian College provides
employees, volunteers and clergy
with regular and appropriate

and is compliant in their

Role Description

compliance checks, Casual Relieving
Learning Diverstiy Officers are placed
on our list for future employment
Each occasion will be a regarded as
separate contract.
Selection Criteria
Essential Criteria
- Work collaboratively and collegially
- Committed to improving pedagogical

practices
- Strong understanding of and

commitment to the Catholic and
Salesian ethos of the College
- Appropriate qualifications and/or

experience (including VIT Registration
- Recognised expertise as a

**classroom teacher**: ability to
engage students in quality learning
experiences and maintain sound
student management practices
- Knowledge and understanding of the

learning and wellbeing needs of boys
- Proven ability to work within and

contribute to a team
- Strong knowledge and

understanding of Child Safety
legislation and responsibilities

These positions come under the
Victorian Catholic Education Multi
Employer Agreement 2018.
