At Coates, labourers (internally titled Yardperson) are a key support function for the maintenance of the **Erskine Park Branch** yard area. In addition to providing a high level of customer service you will need to:

- Load and unload equipment from vehicles in-line with company policy procedures and guides - specifically Portable Toilets but also Portable Buildings and various Building Materials
- Perform general yard duties, move toilets and buildings using a range of Forklifts & Attachments, organise stock around yard, coordinate yard movements, liaise with customers, truck drivers and trades on site
- Assist with Cleaning & basic repairs and maintenance to Portable Toilets including use of Power Tools
- Completion of Electronic and Paper-based dockets, checklists, logbooks, Risk Assessments etc
- Cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard
- Promote a Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture - champion safety to your colleagues and customers.
- **Monday to Friday work with regular overtime and occasional weekend work**:

- **Typical start time would be 6:00am or 7:00am depending on operational requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Previous experience from a similar role
- A current Forklift License (Class LF) and relevant experience
- A current Driver’s License
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Desirable but not essential - Truck Licence
- A strong commitment to safety
