**We are looking for a handy person with a trade background in the building and construction industry or has building experience in Canberra.**

Our client is a locally owned and operated business focused on quality work along with building lasting relationships with their clients. They take pride in reacting to the needs of their clients, fast and efficiently with a focus on providing a quality solution at an affordable price.

**The role**
Responsible for maintenance of residential sites, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will need to be able to work unsupervised and ensure outcomes are delivered. We are looking for someone who is a reliable self-starter, who always aim for quality workmanship. If you are a proficient handy person who has great people skills and are a team player who takes pride in their work, then we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**
- Attend to and manage all maintenance tasks to a high standard
- Tiling
- Painting
- Plastering
- Carpentry
- Cleaning
- Basic plumbing and electrical

**Skills & Experience**
- A minimum of 5-10 years experience in the building industry
- Plastering and painting experience (essential)
- Handyman skills (essential)
- Trade certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Tools of trade (preferred)
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to develop great working relationships
- Team player with a ‘can do’ positive attitude
- A full driver's licence
