**About the role**:

- Support clients to stay living in their home and connected to their community
- Enable clients' social connectedness, and provide services such as domestic assistance, personal care and respite care, supporting client independence at home
- Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferences
- Play an important role in the team by contributing to the assessment and care planning of each client as required
- Effectively communicate with your team, to ensure the best outcomes for each client

**About You**:

- Your demonstrated compassion, empathy and advocacy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our clients and their families.
- Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible client experience, teamwork and standard of care.
- Your ability to work independently and efficiently by optimising the use of technology within your role.
- Qualifications in individual support or related work experience are beneficial but not essential. We can help you learn and develop in the role.
- Australian Working Rights.
- Current valid Australian driver's license and a licensed, comprehensively insured and road worthy motor vehicle.
- It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare. _
