About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Transport Analytics, this senior management role will be responsible for leading an Agile team to deliver analytical transformation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities
- Fostering a culture of customer focused problem solving, continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering value
- Manage data science and engineering related activities to successful outcomes by ensuring that products, services and supporting information systems align with business challenges and customer needs
- Planning and managing large and complex projects which utilise the latest data analysis techniques and which improve data engineering and warehousing practices across the department
- Coordinating engagement with internal and external customers and stakeholders

Key Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
- Ability to lead and motivate an Agile team and foster a collaborative, customer focussed culture
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and in doing so develop a clear understanding of customer processes and requirements
- Strong technical abilities in predictive and prescriptive modelling, statistical analysis, data engineering and warehousing, cloud systems and programming
