Crust Pizza is a renowned and rapidly growing pizza chain, known for its delicious gourmet pizzas and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join our Warners Bay team. As an Assistant Store Manager at Crust Pizza, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Support**:

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Ensure the execution of operational policies and procedures to maintain efficient store functionality.
- Support quality control measures to consistently deliver excellent products and services to our customers.
- **Team Support and Development**:

- Assist in the training, development, and supervision of staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, while motivating and guiding team members to achieve high performance.
- Step in as needed to manage shifts and ensure smooth operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
- **Customer Service Excellence**:

- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure that customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Encourage the team to engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities.
- **Inventory and Financial Assistance**:

- Support inventory management, including product ordering and stock control, ensuring mínimal waste.
- Assist in achieving sales targets and monitoring store costs to optimize profitability.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within the food service or hospitality industry is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Solid organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
