Emergency Medicine Registrar/ Career Medical Officer

**The Location**
Known for its beautiful tree lined streets and magnificent autumn colours, it sits high on the beautiful Northern Tablelands. Located between Sydney and Brisbane, it is an easy commute to these major cities.
The region offers diversity in outdoor activities; visit the nearby breathtaking World Heritage listed National Parks which boasts spectacular gorges and waterfalls. It is an educational centre with a excellent university and public and private schools each providing education comparable to any capital city in Australia. Enjoy impressive architecture, a variety of arts and cultural activities and an array of culinary experiences.
**The Hospital**
A spacious and modern, well-equipped regional referral facility providing a comprehensive range of services including; acute medical and surgical, obstetrics, paediatrics and a range of diagnostic and allied health services.
The hospital has a busy Emergency Department with approximately 18,000 presentations per year and has dedicated areas for resuscitation, acute presentations, ambulant and fast track presentations, paediatrics, dedicated metal health assessment and procedure room.
**The Role**
The position will be fulfilled with a workload busy enough to gain exposure to a large variety of cases from all age groups but quiet enough to be encouraged to practice evidence-based medicine. You will be well supported by a team with a good mix of experience and enthusiasm providing mentoring and support from both junior and senior staff.
**Requirements**:
Currently registered in Australia or eligible for registration in Australia with at least three years post-graduate experience.
