**About the Role**

We have a client in **Tumut** with complex care needs and we are looking for a Disability Support Worker to assist him in the mornings. Your responsibilities will include:

- Personal Care assistance daily and supporting with hygiene/grooming
- Medication administration and assisting with transfers
- Provide assistance with bowel care management daily
- Support with domestic assistance around the home and help in everyday activities including meal preparation
- Morning shifts available from 7am - 9.30am up to 5 days a week, would potentially suit someone looking for additional hours in the area

**About you**

As a passionate Support Worker, you will bring with you a wonderful attitude and approach that is client centric. With the client’s needs front and centre you will have/be:

- Demonstrated ability in providing support to people with a physical disability
- Good **Manual Handing skills** including transfers
- Experienced working with **complex care needs** including bowel management (full training given)
- Happy to work shorter shifts on a rotating fortnightly roster
- NDIS Clearance, Working with Children’s Check, National Police Check & Current First Aid & CPR
- Up to date **Covid 19 vaccinations** including booster shot
