**About the role**

As a Home Care Worker, you will have a varied and rewarding role travelling throughout Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region. Working alongside aged care consumers with differing support needs, you will provide them with the appropriate support to achieve their goal of living independently within their own home.

The types of support provided include:

- Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework;
- Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping;
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care;
- Assisting with medication;
- Support in developing a consumer driven care plan.

Remuneration for this role is $22.94 - $26.74 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.

**About you**

You are caring, empathetic and seeking to make a difference. You are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes.

To be suited to these positions, you will have:

- Experience in providing excellent customer service;
- A current driver's licence and fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes;
- Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (qualified applicants);
- Completion of the following unit of competency: HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication - or ability to acquire (qualified applicants);
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates (qualified applicants);
- A Drivers Authority will be highly regarded.
