**About the Role**:
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Social Work Allied Health Assistant to join the RACS Social Work Team at University of Canberra Hospital. Allied Health Assistants are an integral part of the RACS Social Work team, and work under the direction of Social Workers to manage specific tasks, processes or activities.

The Social Work AHA2/3 will work alone, with a Social Worker, or in a team. The Social work Allied Health Assistant (AHA 2/3) will receive direct to limited supervision based on their work level and task complexity.

The AHA2/3 will exercise judgement and initiative on routine matters, and based on their work level, they may seek supervision for more complex tasks. They will work flexibly across a range of clinical and team related activities.

- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the _Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011_ _is required.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
