Forklift driver needed in the Inner West

**Position Description**:

- Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence_

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently and safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload electric appliances and lighting products.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of products, ensuring they match order specifications and quality standards.
- Organise and maintain inventory within the warehouse, including proper storage, labelling, and rotation of stock.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and staging products according to customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate outgoing shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including cleaning, organising, and restocking inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns regarding warehouse operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid forklift operator licence and demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the electrical appliance or lighting industry.
- The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as inventory management and order fulfilment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Commitment to safety guidelines and willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures.
