**The Opportunity**

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a talented **Configuration Management Specialist** to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. This role can be based in **Williamtown or Brisbane.**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain the Ground Support System (GSS) product design data (including software), technical baselines, engineering changes, and approved configuration;
- Preparation and governance of GSS Configuration Control Boards;
- Prepare and participate in GSS configuration audits and technical design reviews;
- Assist to implement and maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements, and
- Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a related industry;
- Experience in the Wedgetail Ground Support System is preferred;
- Formal Configuration Management training / certification is desired;
- Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards such as: ANSI/EIA-649, EIA-HD-649, MIL-HDBK-61, EIA-649_1 and EIA-836 is preferred.
