**The Opportunity**
This role will suit a highly experienced records and information management specialist who is keen to work as part of a small expert Governance, Risk and Compliance team responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of BDA's governance framework, enterprise risk management and compliance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Evaluate and conduct gap analyses and develop proposed solutions to ensure compliance with RIM program requirements. Lead the implementation of RIM program improvements, primarily in relation to policy, system, and retention.
- Work with senior leaders to develop strategy and system requirements for implementing lean processes and procedures related to record management systems supporting global retention controls.
- Serve as senior specialist and provide guidance to RIM focals. Provide input to project resource requirements to accomplish tasks.
- Coordinate, monitor and evaluate work performed by vendors in conjunction with deployment of RIM services.
- Lead RIM program risk assessment/monitoring, root cause identification, corrective action plans and continuous program/quality improvements.
- Provide consultation to key Business Partners and Stakeholders to ensure RIM products, processes and tools are followed.
To be successful, you will:
- Hold a relevant Bachelor degree and 10+ years' related work experience, or a Master degree and 8+ years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Be a records and information management expert with extensive experience in a senior role in a large, complex organisation
- Have advanced communication skills and an ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive change
- Be able to research, develop, implement and embed new processes which are customised to the specific business environment
- Have highly developed analytical skills
