**About Us**
I own a small private business that leases the Café in the school grounds at
Mount St. Joseph Girls' College located in Maidstone Street, Altona. I am currently looking for a bright and energetic individual with a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude to join my team. We produce and serve fresh in
- house cooked meals onsite. Open from Breakfast to Lunch and Catering for the school students and staff members. _We do not operate during school holidays. _

**About the role**
This role is focused on ensuring the highest levels of service standards to ensure all students and staff are treated equally. You will also be responsible for the cleaning and basic food preparation duties within the kitchen or food preparation areas and maintain strict hygiene and safety procedures.
Responsibilities involve; oversee staff when Manager unavailable. Preparation and constructing breakfast, recess and lunch service. Pack up and clean down of kitchen. Ordering stock supplies with communicating to manager daily. You will need to be proficient in cash handling and able to add price figures in a fast correct manner.

I am looking for people who have strong work ethics, are friendly, outgoing, willing to go that extra mile and have excellent customer service. You must be able to understand and follow recipes & checklists. Experience in the food service industry is great, but I am looking for staff with a good attitude. That is all you need a vibrant personality, good attitude and willingness to learn

**LEAVE**
This position is casual and the café is operational 38 weeks of the year. We are closed all school holidays and public holidays. If you need holidays out of the non operational weeks, two weeks at a time is not an issue with enough advanced notice.

**Skills and Attributes**
To be successful you must:

- Be able to work within a small team without supervision - **Essential**:
