Based in the North-West of Sydney with branch offices in other states around Australia, we have an opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to join our Electrical & Controls team across Australia. This role will suit a dynamic professional to support us growing even stronger in the future.

**Job Description**:
**Position Purpose**

The Electrical & Controls Engineering Manager will lead, develop and support multi-disciplined Electrical & Controls team across Australia. This role will be responsible for the management of Electrical & Control system designs, quotations, quality requirements and technical support processes. In addition, will help ensure that company operating, and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met.

**Specific Tasks**
- Provide expertise and guidance to the team for the design, control and functional safety of Mobile and Industrial electrical and control systems
- Review project handover documentation and customer specifications
- Schedule, prioritise and ensure on time delivery of day-to-day work for the engineering design and controls teams
- Support the production team to ensure on time delivery
- Support the sales and service teams with the preparation of quotations for electrical and control systems
- Travel to site (domestically and internationally) to support the sales and service teams with the development, quotation, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems
- Monitor global product portfolio, identifying products suitable for Australian market range that would support us offering full, turnkey solutions
- Provide customer support for electrical/electronic component and system enquiries

**Qualifications**:
**Position Requirements**
- Electrical and/or Mechatronic Engineering Degree
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiating skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders, to successfully deliver project and team outcomes
- Extensive, (minimum 10 years) demonstrated, management and engineering skills & experience with the ability to drive engineering tasks from inception through to completion
- SAP Production (PP) module experience
- Autodesk - AutoCAD and Vault experience
