**About the role**
Reporting to Cbus Group Head of Member Services the Industry Research and analysis Specialist will play a pivotal role in Workplace Services (WPS), for providing comprehensive Industry strategic research & processes for building and construction and allied industries including in Print and media sector. This role involves collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide insights and enhance understanding of opportunities for optimization and retention in the specified sectors. This role will work with the Group Head and Heads of to support the significant programs of work impacting the Member Services portfolio for Targeted Growth.
This role is multifaceted, responsible for collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders, conducting Industry targeted Research I & Analysis. This role will be responsible not only for the targeted growth strategies, but also the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for reporting activities, change and issue resolutions, contributing to a broad range of business programs as directed by the Group Head of Member Services.
**Key Accountabilities**
**Industry Research and Analysis**
- Conduct in-depth research on targeted industries and sectors aligned with the MEX growth strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver training, support, and growth strategies for workplace services teams.
- Document and securely store training artefacts for future use.
**Data and Performance Reporting**
- Develop structured approaches to performance reporting and data analysis.
- Design and implement methodologies to collect and interpret industry and sector data.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to identify growth and retention opportunities.
**Process Mapping and Risk Mitigation**
- Assist in process mapping, risk identification, and implementing mitigation strategies in line with enterprise frameworks.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to address issues and develop risk-mitigation procedures.
**Documentation and Optimization**
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for reporting and process activities.
- Recommend and implement improvements to data collection, analysis, and research processes to optimize retention strategies.
**Key Skills and Experience**
- Proven expertise in industry research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience within superannuation or member-based organizations, particularly in construction, printing, and media sectors.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in issue investigation, risk assessment, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
