**Design Manager - UX/UI & Design System Transformation**
**Location: Brisbane, CBD (1 day per week in office, up to 4 days WFH)**

They are embarking on a transformation journey, and are seeking a talented Design Manager to lead our UI and Design System initiatives.

**Role Overview**:
As the Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the internal products by spearheading UI and Design System transformations. This role is not just about design; it's about leadership, collaboration, and being an integral part of our business's transformation journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **UI and Design System Transformation**: Lead the evolution of UI and Design System, ensuring a cohesive and seamless experience across all internal products.
- **Leadership and Collaboration**: Work cross-functionally with Research, Voice of Customer, Service Design Team, and Engineering to create a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and excellence.
- **Team Maturation**: Take charge of maturing the design team by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for skill development. Uplift the overall design capabilities within the organisation.
- **Customer-Centric Approach**: Drive a customer-centric design culture by leveraging insights from customer research, feedback, and data to inform design decisions. (all research is done in-house)
- **Impact Assessment**: Monitor and measure the impact of design initiatives on thousands of users, ensuring a positive and improved customer experience.
- **Remote Work Environment**: Embrace a flexible work model, allowing up to 4 days of remote work and one day per week in the office, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Proven experience in UI and Design System transformation.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and mentoring successful design teams.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Research, Voice of Customer, Service Design, and Engineering.
- Passion for fostering a customer-centric design culture.
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive user experiences through design improvements.
- Proven track record in design team maturation and capability uplift.
- Excellent communication skills to convey design strategies and decisions.
