Home Care Support Worker

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are currently recruiting Home Care Support Worker for **Penrith Area** - **Claremont meadows, Emu Heights, Glenmore Park, Werrington, Colyton, Emu plains, Jamison town, Werrington county, Erskine park, Penrith, Kemps creek, Mulgoa, Kingswood, St Marys, Orchard hills, Glenbrook, Silverdale, St Clair, South Penrith, Oxley park, Wallacia, Caddens, Warragamba** **and surrounding areas.**

- Earn from **$28.01 to $31.38 per hour plus super **based on your experience

**Your New Role**
- **Help at Home**: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
- **Transportation and Personal Care**:Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
- **Client Awareness**: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
- **Safety Practices**: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

**Key Requirements**
- Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
- All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses
- Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory

- Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
- Bachelor of Social Work/ Nursing

**You could be an experienced Support Worker or even new to the industry coming from experience in customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality.
