**Full Job Description**

Hi We are a small local cafe/cake shop located in the heart of Ryde at Midway Shops. We are looking for Barista/all rounder staff who take initiative, are flexible, capable and are team players. We are looking for someone who is confident engaging with customers, fluent in English, and eager to learn and assist in all aspects of the cafe.

**The roles**:
**Barista / All Rounder**:

- Barista training and 1 years experience is required
- Experience working in a fast paced environment doing min 4kgs of coffee by yourself a day
- We are looking for someone who feels confident multi-tasking to cover barista duties as well as the role of an all rounder.
- Must be willing to learn the requirements of all rounder duties and work as a team.

**All Rounder**:

- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required
- Good communication skills
- Must be willing to work in a team
- Comfortable serving and talking with customers
- Duties will include serving food, beverages, operating till, restocking (bags, cups, etc.), wiping tables, dishes and dishwasher, cleaning etc.

**Schedule**:
**Barista / All Rounder**:

- Available on week days between 6am - 5pm
- Morning shifts 6am - 1pm Afternoon shifts 12pm - 5pm
- Availability for a minimum of 1-2 afternoon shifts each week is a requirement

**All Rounder**:

- Available on week days from 12pm - 5pm
- Available to work Saturdays 7am - 2pm (preferred)

**Juniors (All Rounder)**:

- Available to work Saturdays 7am - 2pm (required)
- Available on week days to assist in cleanup duties from 3pm - 5pm (can be discussed)

Flexible hours can be discussed.

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Ryde, NSW, 2113: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Food handling: 1 year (preferred)

**Work Authorisation**:

- Australia (required)
