**About the role**

We are looking for Telecommunication Technicians to join our NSW team.

**Telecommunication Technicians 5G**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Install and upgrade wireless network equipment & setup new telecommunications services
- Perform troubleshooting, fault finding and repairing communication networks.
- Installing of telecommunication RF Antennas, Microwave Dishes, ODUs MHAs, TMAs and RRUs
- Install, relocate, removal of RF or Microwave antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment on Tower and Shelter
- Perform Feeder Sweep, PIM Tests and DTF
- Perform Microwave Antenna Alignment.
- Completing handover documentation on site.
- Study and Interpret technical drawings and provide necessary advice on the design to Customers.
- Ensure OH&S compliance

**Essential Skills & Attributes**:

- Ability to follow instructions & work in a team environment
- Must be flexible - weekends, working at night & travel will be required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
- Must have a solid knowledge of all required WHS requirements and practices
- Attention to detail, to ensure a careful & precise approach to works
- Integrity & Dependability. We are after someone honest & ethical, that is reliable & responsible for fulfilling requirements

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks, equipment, and cabling.
- Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering or a similar field.
- NBN enable qualified.
- Basic Rigger License required
- Work at height and Tower rescue required
- First Aid & CPR required.
- Construction Card (White Card) required.
- RF awareness training Preferred
- Australian (C Class) Drivers Licence.
- Police check (within 6 months): Must be clear with no convictions.
- Full Australian Work Rights.
- Ability to understand and implement RAN, RF, and Transmission designs.
- Proven experience within a network rollout discipline.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
