**Position Overview**
As a Shop Drawer/Draftsperson, you will play a pivotal role in the heart of our design and manufacturing process. - Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and client sketches, translating them into detailed, production-ready drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and workshop staff to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and efficiency of designs.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits to gather dimensions, clarify requirements, and resolve design challenges.
- Maintain and update drawing files, records, and documentation for each project.
- Provide technical support and advice to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Identify potential issues and propose practical, creative solutions to enhance design, functionality, and buildability.
- Assist with revisions and updates to shop drawings as projects evolve.
- Help foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in the drafting department.
