Perfect for a catch up with friends, a family day out or simply no reason at all. We're open for all day breakfast, brunch & lunch, with a seasonally inspired menu. **About the Role**:
We are looking for dedicated and customer-focused Front of House/Wait Staff to join our team and be an integral part of providing outstanding service to our customers.

**Roster: Weekends only - 8am/9am starts to 3pm/4pm finishes.**

Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the below:

- **Customer Experience**:

- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and hospitable demeanour.
- Provide menu recommendations and take customer orders, ensuring accuracy and accommodating special dietary requests where possible.
- Deliver a high quality customer experience by addressing customer needs, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
- **Table Service**:

- Set up and maintain clean, organised, and properly arranged dining areas.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, following established service standards and etiquette.
- Ensure a smooth flow of service by clearing and resetting tables efficiently.
- **Product Knowledge**:

- Thoroughly understand the menu, including dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Stay informed about daily specials, seasonal offerings, and any menu changes.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and provide accurate descriptions.
- **Teamwork**:

- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and your colleagues to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Provide valuable feedback to the kitchen staff on menu updates when requested.
- Assist in ensuring all service areas are well-maintained and stocked.
- Providing valuable assistance to our dedicated dishwashers when needed.
- **Payment Processing**:

- Process customer payments, including: handling cash, credit card transactions, and issuing receipts.
- Maintain cash registers accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
- **Cleanliness and Hygiene**:

- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including tables, chairs, and floor.
- Adhere to all applicable health and safety guidelines.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous front of house (FOH) experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding customer service orientation and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Knowledge of basic food & beverage service and etiquette.
- DoFoodSafely qualification is preferred.
