Our client is a private funds management firm focused on the affordable accommodation sector and currently supports a large portfolio of caravan parks in Victoria. The experienced, approachable Directors are personally involved with each property.
Join this progressive firm as a hands-on Park Management couple. You will lead and manage the operational services of a popular holiday park located in a leafy outer suburb of Melbourne with easy access to shops and transport.
As Park Managers, you will work with assistant managers in a supportive and team environment and will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations of the park. You will act as business partners to the Directors, focused on profitability targets and controlling costs, as well as finding satisfaction in park development and capital improvement.
Desirable skillsets include:
- Experienced in managing an accommodation-based business encompassing office administration, financial management and grounds maintenance
- Good financial understanding - revenue, costs, investments
- Skilled in sales and marketing
- Ability to lead, build rapport and motivate a team
- Ability to problem solve and fix things
- Mediation and conflict resolution skills
- Massive amount of initiative and self-motivation
- This is a live-in position and a 2 bedroom house above reception will be provided. Working to a roster with an after-hour component, an attractive salary package is offered.
