Experienced Disability Support Worker

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience with participants of various backgrounds, including drug use is required.
- Experience responding to emotionally dysregulated behaviour.
- Experienced and comfortable support verbal aggression

Monday 9:30am - 3:00pm

Tuesday 11:15am - 4:00pm and 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Wednesday 9:30am - 3:00pm

Thursday 11:15am - 4:00pm

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Working With Childrens Check

Drivers License

**MAIN DUTIES**:
Providing assistance and support to improve daily living

Assist with daily domestic tasks

Assist with meal preparation

Providing support to develop independence skills

Assisting with accessing community for appointments, outings and leisure

Assisting to build capacity with transportation, personal care and social interactions

Helping participants to achieve their goals

Following procedures including the collation of data and report writing.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of participant interactions and services provided.

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
