We wish to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with an experienced Dogman/ Rigger to join our newly awarded 10 year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. In this role you'll be responsible for:

- Safely slinging, guiding, and directing loads during lifting operations using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
- Working closely with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors to ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and efficiently
- Inspecting lifting gear, slings, and equipment prior to use, ensuring they are in good condition and meet required standards
- Signalling and communicating clearly with crane operators using standard hand signals and radio communication
- Assisting with general site duties including material handling, load securing, and site housekeeping when not engaged in lifting operations
- Maintaining awareness of load weights, lifting capacities, and exclusion zones to prevent incidents or damage
- Reporting any faults, hazards, or incidents promptly and participating in toolbox talks and pre-start meetings.

How you'll connect to the role:

- Current High-Risk Work Licence (DG) - Dogging essential and Construction White Card
- Previous experience as a Dogman within a civil, utilities, or infrastructure environment
- Sound understanding of safe lifting procedures, load charts, and exclusion zones
- Ability to communicate effectively with crane operators and site personnel
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (highly regarded)
- Physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist across various site activities with a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
