Parramatta’s new sandwich spot, Matty’s Sandwiches, is currently seeking an skilled, friendly and energetic Barista. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and loves hospitality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicating effectively with customers, team members and kitchen staff
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages
- Make consistently excellent coffee (espresso, milk texturing, alternative milks)
- Set up and close the coffee station daily
- Serve customers with a warm, friendly attitude
- Maintain a clean and organised coffee/work area
- Creating a positive environment of excellent customer service and teamwork

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven barista experience (at least 1 year preferred)
- Confidence in using a commercial coffee machine and grinder
- Strong milk texturing skills and knowledge of different brew style
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to work well with a small team
- Well-presented, maintaining a high standard of hygiene

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
