Greenkeeper / Spray Technician

Full time permanent roles with leave, allowances and RDOs

Our workload is growing and we are looking for multiple team members to join our tight-knit team.

We are seeking a qualified greenkeeper/ spray technician to work on a range of sports fields, parks and various sites carrying out general greenkeeper duties, using a variety of modern equipment. Our roles gives you the opportunity to work on a variety of sites - no two days are the same.

Experience in the turf industry is necessary along with some chemical knowledge, the ability to solve problems and work in a variety of environments.

This role involves working as predominantly as a solo operator, as part of our Turf Maintenance department. Our work includes turf maintenance of sports fields and parks on council and private sites, and includes aspects of green-keeping including spraying, fertilising, minor renovations and occasionally mowing.

We start and finish each day from our base in Stapylton, heading out to our sites in company vehicles. Overnight shifts and some overnight stays can be required, due to the locations of some sites and client/job requirements (allowances paid).

**Essential Qualifications/ Experience**:

- Minimum Cert lll Horticulture (Sports Turf Management) or equivalent;
- Minimum MR drivers licence (or the ability to obtain an MR licence);
- White Card;
- Sports field or golf course experience essential;
- Some grass species, weed and pest identification skills;
- Some experience and knowledge of chemical products and their uses;
- Proven experience in spraying.

**Desirable Skills/ Qualifications**:

- ACDC Licence (or able to obtain);
- Traffic Management Level 2;
- Stand pipe experience;
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain);
- Working With Children card.

Job security for out team members is important to us, so these are full time permanent roles with annual leave, personal leave etc and RDO hours. Outstanding employees may be considered for industry training and qualifications after a probationary period. We have an on-site gym, personal trainer and free annual skin checks.
