Our Client is a world prime for military systems and platform capability and is seeking experienced electrical trade personnel to support the test and commissioning of electrical and mechanical platform systems for the Australian Defence Force, specifically Navy.

Those that are ex-serving or current serving electrical/marine/electronics-weapons technicians out of ADF with experience in high and low power commissioning will be highly regarded. Multiple opportunities available, all permanent full-time with rewarding benefits and great career growth

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Preparation of accurate documentation including test procedures and reports
- Providing recommendation on potential improvements
- Preventative and reactive maintenance across a safety-critical marine electro-mechanical systems
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on the installation, repair and commissioning of ships systems
- Work under strict defence industry standards and encourage those around you for support and training where required
- Test and commissioning of hydraulic, power-distribution, ships lighting and cabling systems on-board HMAS vessels.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years electrical trade experience
- Vocational/Professional Qualification in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical fields
- Experience with Naval Ships systems (desirable)
- Experience both at Sea and Ashore on Naval establishments and/or platforms (desirable)

**MUST** be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Those that hold current baseline or above clearance are encouraged to apply**
