Optical Assistant

We are looking for our next Optical Assistant to join our community focused independent Optometry practice in providing exceptional patient care.

**About you**

You are a person who enjoys giving patient - centered care. and is someone who:

**The Role**

Is suitable for someone who is motivated, has a passion for helping others and is dedicated to providing top quality customer service.
- Provide frame styling and lens advice to our patients
- Enjoy a diverse role with direct customer contact
- General practice activities including bookings, administration duties, frame adjustments and repairs

**Desired qualities include**:

- Retail experience - optical retail is preferred but not essential.
- Communication skills - written, face-to-face and via phone.
- Computer skills.
- Problem-solving skills, the ability to learn quickly and adapt to different tasks.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team.
- Punctual and reliable with a mature outlook.

We are a tight knit and super friendly practice with a focus on customer service and community engagement. We are located near public transport in the vibey inner north.
