As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced **FMCG Operators** to join our Smithfield Beverage Can plant and keep our high-speed production lines running efficiently.
**Your Role**
As an Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless production by operating and maintaining cutting-edge machinery. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- **Machine Operation and Troubleshooting** - Running, monitoring, and adjusting high-speed production equipment to maintain efficiency and product quality
- **Basic Maintenance and Repairs** - Using power tools to perform minor mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting
- **Quality and Safety Compliance** - Conducting routine checks to maintain production quality and adhere to strict safety and environmental standards
- **Downtime Prevention** - Identifying and resolving mechanical issues before they impact production
- **Data and Reporting** - Keeping accurate logs of production and maintenance activities
**What You Will Bring**
- **Experience in High-Speed FMCG Manufacturing** - Ideally in a beverage, food, or packaging environment
- **Mechanical Aptitude** - Ability to troubleshoot machinery and perform minor adjustments using basic tools
- **Forklift License Desirable but Not Essential** - Advantageous for material handling tasks
- **Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills** - Ability to collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams
- **Commitment to Safety and Efficiency** - Familiarity with safe operating procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
