Sadly for us, one of our current & long term Support Workers are moving out of area, so Just Better Care Blue Mountains are looking for a Support Worker who is able to commence work ASAP This means we have ONGOING available services that we can can book you into immediately, should you be the right fit for our clients.

We are specifically looking for someone who is available during the following times/days, and preferably additional times/days as needed:

- Mondays 9.00am - 2.00pm
- Tuesdays 10.00am - 12.00pm
- Wednesdays 9.30am - 5.00pm
- Thursdays 9.00am - 2.00pm
- Fridays 10.00am - 1.00pm

Must be willing to travel between Springwood - Katoomba, however we will also have services throughout the lower
- mid mountains that we can also offer.

We are looking for dedicated Community Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our valued customers. Our local office is located in Richmond and we service customers throughout the Hawkesbury, Nepean and Blue Mountains regions.

**About us**:
Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Our friendly, compassionate and experienced team makes this possible.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service

- Caring, compassionate & friendly
- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
- Reliable & dependable
- Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

**What you will need**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
- Current Working with Children Check ((preferred)
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (required)
