**Our Opportunity**

Opportunity for a Shipwright to join our team based in Garden Island. You will be responsible for our day to day dock operations within our site and provide extensive trade skills within the group. In addition, you will support our Platform Services business within a multi resources team operation in various environments.

Great chance for someone with general labour skills to advance their career by working in the only dedicated dock team on the East Coast.

**Responsibilities**
- The manufacture and docking cradle for vessels
- Carry out docking & undocking of vessels in the graving dock safely.
- Provide and maintain Support of the Ship Repair Services
- Willingness to undertake multi skilled activities in all aspects of ship repair.
- Comply with instructions given for own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures

**About You**
- Certificate 3 Marine Craft Construction preferred
- Possession of Boat licence, Coxswain ticket
- EWP ticket
- Forklift ticket
- Confined Space ticket
- Working at height ticket
- Able to read drawings and line off
- General experience in working within either a naval or industrial environment
- Experience of docking set-ups or slipping of vessels and reading ships drawings

**Good to Know**

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
