**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a range of products, including artisan breads, sourdough, croissants, danishes, donuts, and other pastries.
- Follow established recipes and techniques while maintaining consistency in product quality.
- Mix, shape, and proof doughs for breads and pastries according to our production schedule.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results.
- Assist in developing new recipes and refining existing products to expand the bakery’s offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient for production needs.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

**Requirements**:

- Formal qualifications in baking or pastry arts, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in a commercial bakery setting, with skills in baking breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Knowledge of sourdough fermentation and pastry techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and manage time efficiently in a busy bakery environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
