Fleet Scheduler

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Fleet Scheduler **to join our Rail and Transit Systems team in Pakenham
- VIC.

- Fleet Through Life Support Services
- Public Transport Operations

The position **Fleet Scheduler **is responsible for the communication and implementation of a Fleet Maintenance Plan to meet the TMP and Corrective Maintenance requirements for Downer’s passenger fleets. This position is responsible for the efficient and effective use of resources to ensure the maintenance activities result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity whilst ensuring compliance with the regulatory safety standards.

Responsible for collating information in respect to all customers’ requirements (Train Operations), depot resources (people and materials), and depot infrastructure and available down time of T&RS so as to produce daily and short
- term plans for the shift-by-shift production workloads.

**Ideally, you will have the following experience**:

- Proven work scheduling and planning experience in a heavy asset engineering environment with working knowledge of fleet maintenance requirements in a **rail environment **(preferred)
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and delivering to agreed completion dates
- Significant operational administration experience within a production or maintenance environment
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, resource planning and other techniques for maximising output
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance Procedures
- Demonstrated planning, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions
- High level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work under strict deadlines and challenging environments
- High level computer skills including significant experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure, priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously when required
