**About the Programs**
Lead two new mental health programs in one of our fastest growing service portfolios The first program provides treatment services for people with mental health concerns in Residential Aged Care Facilities and aims to enhance the quality of life for older people through improved access to primary mental health services.
The second program is Targeted Psychological Therapies (TPT), an initiative that provides Psychological therapy services for underserviced groups. It provides evidence based, structured short-term, low, or medium intensity psychological intervention to people with a diagnosable mild, moderate, or in some cases severe mental illness.
You will manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve the goal of each program.

**Your opportunity**
We are looking for a passionate, people focused and innovative Leader. As this is a new initiative you will have the opportunity to help establish the programs as well as participate in building the team and provide your input into how our programs run best for our clients. The team will consist of up to 8 clinical staff with a mix of full time and part time opportunities.
This is an ongoing full-time position.
**Responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to**:
- Coordinate operational requirements for both programs
- Lead innovative program design and development, with ongoing evaluation of the programs according to the organisation’s strategic directions, goals, and reporting requirements
- Provide operational, organisational and client reporting for both programs on a regular basis
- Engage with and develop productive relationships with relevant stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
- Undertake regular audits to ensure that client records, data collection and reporting are consistent with confidentiality and relevant practice standards.
- Constructively and positively participate in the development, improvement and implementation of systems and processes, including any requirements of an accreditation process.
- Provide effective day-to-day management and supervision to a multidisciplinary team
- Within budget parameters, allocate staff resources and maintain rosters, accordingly, including managing timesheets and leave.
The full time equivalent total salary package for this role is approximately $122K to $127K dependent on skills and experience, and includes base salary, salary packaging, superannuation, leave loading (17.5%), 5 additional days of paid Wellbeing Leave, and Fitness Passport membership access.
**What you’ll bring**
**To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you’ll need**:
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, community development, management, business, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience working in the human services sector
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage a multidisciplinary team in a changing environment
- The ability to identify, foster and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- High level communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to build rapport and adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved.
- Ability to develop and implement processes and systems that support high quality and flexible service delivery.
- Experience working with, or a sound understanding of persons experiencing mental health challenges.
**While not essential, we’d also love you to have**:
- Previous experience in coordinating or managing programs and services within a community-based organisation, would be highly regarded.
