**Your new role**:
General

Maintain the Ship lift and Assets relevant to its operations.

Have comprehensive knowledge of the work scope at a job card level prior to, and during the execution.

Assist trade and industry partners to ensure the overall schedule is met.

Proactively integrate activities across trade groups.

Supervise trade and non-trade discipline activities.

Work with the site workplace solutions coordinator to adhere to Agility schedule.

Resource forecast and plan tasks in Agility and propose break down dates with Dock master to DE conflict activities requiring the use of our ship lift.

Ensuring correct and appropriate bookings are input into Kronos or similar time booking program.

Use various IT programs for the day to day management of work scopes.

Liaise with BAE procurement team, Subcontractors and suppliers to ensure dock and dock related assets are maintained appropriately.

Ensure inputs required to tools such as Kronos, SHE Online, Agility, Hazard and Risk databases are adequately maintained.

Forecast annual budget spend.

Technical

Mechanical equipment installation, operation, isolations and testing.

Installation of various high value items utilising mechanical aids.

Machinery and equipment utilisation and training.

Ship lift operational knowledge.

Leadership

Ensure adequate supervision is provided to the workforce at all times, which may include a reasonable level of shift and weekend coverage.

Interface with all members of the Project and Production team.

Fluid transfer of roles through higher duties allowance and formally through succession planning to remove all performance execution risk.

Performance management of team members that are not performing to an acceptable level.

Actively supervise employees on a day to day basis.

Support the development, coaching and mentoring of all team members inclusive of apprentices.
