If you are a Companion Care Worker and have community care experience then we would like to talk to you Our services include, aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home and palliative care. We are currently seeking experienced Personal Care Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high quality service. Our priority is to help our clients live empowered and independently at home. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

This role will report to the Care Manager Right at Home Sydney Upper North Shore.

This position is on a casual basis with work mainly in the North of Sydney.

**Here is a bit more about your role as a personal care worker**:

- You will be a valued team member helping to provide services to support clients’ individual needs in both their home and community
- All of our clients are based in Sydney Upper North Shore Area
- **Paid hours (casual) + Kilometres + Super - Attractive hourly rates**:

- **Paid time in between back-to-back clients**:

- **Broken Shift Allowance**:

- Shifts available at all times giving you the opportunity create your own hours
- You MUST have a current driver's license and preferably own car to use on shifts

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as a personal care worker may include**:

- Domestic Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Assistance
- Respite
- Transport to appointments and shopping, or any other social activity
- Develop a plan along with the client to improve their lives and follow it on a daily basis

**Salary**: $36.18 - $39.05 per hour

**Qualifications**:

- Australian National Police check/ Willing to obtain NDIS worker screening check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate
- Smart mobile phone
- Valid Australian Drivers License and Car

**Preferred Skills**:

- Ability to provide personal and domestic care
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of time management and organisational ability
- Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
