**Job Description**:
**Could you be our next Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Advisor?**
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a DE&I Advisor. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the DE&I programs and initiatives, including developing program capabilities and outcomes, and ensuring they are executed from conception through to completion. You will provide expert advice and ensure McDonald’s Australia is an inclusive and diverse workplace. You will enjoy being hands on and have a passion for DE&I with the ability to lead the development of frameworks and programs that ensure we are an inclusive and culturally safe workplace where everyone is able to be their true authentic self at work.

**What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?**
- Developing and delivering the DE&I strategy and framework for McDonald’s Australia, working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation
- Leading and project managing multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of each project
- Designing and implementing initiatives across all diverse population groups including but not limited to, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people who are culturally, linguistically & abilities diverse, LGBTIQA+ etc.
- Developing and implementing the Learning and development Journey Map for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for Corporate and Restaurants and facilitating training and awareness on diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Engaging our Leadership Teams to drive change, increase engagement and facilitate the delivery of commitments, priorities, and outcomes
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing policies and procedures
- Actively developing and participating in internal and external reference groups, steering committees, and consultative groups to enhance building partnerships and relationships with relevant communities
- Building strong relationships across the business including with global McDonald’s colleagues, leveraging their insights on best practice
- Advising on the latest emerging trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion, so as to challenge the status quo and continue to build capability and awareness across McDonald’s Australia

**Qualifications**:
**Your keys to success**:

- Previous experience in a similar hands-on DE&I role, preferably in a global or multinational organisation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficient in data analysis and the ability to derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data
- A strong passion for DE&I and fostering inclusivity, driving change, and creating a positive and equitable work environment
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging workshops and trainings
- Strong understanding of co-design processes and demonstrated experience in implementing co-design
- Highly developed understanding of contemporary thinking in DE&I
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of Diversity & Inclusion standards, legislation and regulatory authorities or willingness to learn.
- An ability to engage with all levels of the organisation, with strong influencing skills
