An exciting opportunity has now become available for an experienced coordinator with a service-driven orientation to join our team to be based at our Glen Waverley Operations, on a Full-Time basis. _
- The Funeral Coordinator is a member of our team that works behind the scenes to allocate staff and resources to the locations that provide funeral services to the local community. The role actively contributes to a friendly and positive working environment where business outcomes, customer service and staff cooperation are the focus. _
- InvoCare is an ASX listed Australian company and industry leader that owns and operates funeral homes and cemeteries and crematoria across Australia and New Zealand, and Singapore. InvoCare has nationally recognised funeral brands such as White Lady Funerals and Simplicity Funerals, as well as traditional local funeral brands, such as Tobin Brothers. Each funeral brand provides the best possible service to families through teams of professional, dedicated and caring people. _
**_Your key responsibilities will be: _**
- _Support families and help with the first steps in arranging a funeral _
- _Liaising with hospitals, families and nursing homes to arrange transfer of the deceased _
- _Coordinating and dispatching transfer teams _
- _Scheduling times for funerals, viewings, burials and cremations _
- _Allocating funeral staff, equipment and vehicles _
- _Completing the funeral day sheet (run sheet) _
- _Ability to be available to work across rostered weekends _
