External Audit Manager - Audit & Assurance

**The Opportunity**
Nexia Sydney is expanding, and we are looking to bring on a new external Audit Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior Audit Manager professional looking to take the next step in their career.

**The Role**
- Identify and address technical audit issues
- Plan audit assignments and coordinate training & development
- Manage multiple engagements at the same time
- Finalise and review audits at a high quality for Director review
- Identify risks in audit, engagement, litigation and ethics in a changing environment
- Actively participate and support Directors in the conduct of:

- o Tenders
- o Special assignments and reports
- o Practice development
- o International matters

**About You**
- Mid-tier experience as an external Audit Supervisor or Manager
- Qualified degree and CA qualification (or equivalent)
- Expert professional and technical skills
- Exposure to a variety of industries
- Ability to coach and lead, pass knowledge onto others
- Strong skills in Word, Excel and system experience with APS; Caseware skill is preferred
- Ability to build long lasting relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to challenge ideas
- Good time management skills and ability to maximise productivity
