Superstar Female Support Workers for Gold Coast Opportunity

**About the role**:
Our prospective Disability Clients need multiple experienced all rounder Support Workers to join us for our Concierge / Onsite Shared Support opportunity at the brand new (still being finalised) Marine Quarter towers as Southport on the Gold Coast providing unplanned / infrequent supports to 10 Clients of varying disabilities. The Concierge service is 24/7, specifically designed to support NDIS Clients when their usual supports are not available. This unplanned support may be something as simple as assisting a Client with their meal to providing personal care or emergency support in the instance of a fall or other incident.

This is a super cool role where no two days will be the same; but even better, the tenants at Marine Quarter are such an awesome bunch of people who just need a day to day hand from dynamic, dedicated and proactive Support Workers to help them live their best life.

The ideal person suited to this role is an experienced Support Worker with experience with a range of Clients and disabilities. There is a high customer service / hospitality component to this role (think hotel concierge service - with a superstar Support Worker role focus) ensuring that the entirety of the tenant’s life (not just related to their disability) is the focus. This also requires a high degree of autonomy, problem solving, multitasking and the ability to prioritise multiple Client priorities.

**So the nitty gritty.**

We are after approximately ten all rounder Support Workers for this project. The roster will consist of three eight hour shifts per day - all active awake shifts (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am) over a 24 hour period.

The hourly base rate is $ 34.45 /hr plus penalties for Evening, Night, Weekend and Public Holiday Shifts (sorry, rate not negotiable).

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and ongoing training and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

**Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**:

- To deliver high quality support to our Participants in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered. 
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Participants' needs with our Participants, team & Support Specialist.
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Participants needs. - Provide support to our Participants as required.
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner.
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Participants.
- To support our Participants to achieve their NDIS Goals.

To be successful you must

- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
