Couples Counsellor

We are a small, growing business looking to hire an experienced couples counsellor for 1 day a week, ideally a Wednesday, thursday or Sunday.

Must have a minimum 1-2 years experience specifically working with couples OR at least 1-2 years of general, in person counselling.

The role is initially a casual role for 3 months, with the possibility to extend if it goes well.

It would suit someone who already has another role counselling, and is looking to add an additional day, or looking to train and upskill in the niche of couples counselling.

Must be trained in the Gottman Method and/or Emotionally Focussed therapy (EFT) OR willing to pay to become Gottman trained. (There is online training available which you can do from home within about 1 week)

Must also have the following:

- ACA or PACFA registration
- private indemnity and public liability insurance
- experience with couples therapy

This is an excellent, flexible opportunity for the right person.
