Freight Handler

**About us**

Our client is currently recruiting for Freight Handlers in Darra for an immediate start.

**Benefits**
- $35.08 per hour
- On call work - up to 5 days per week
- Darra Location
- Start times between 3.30am to 5am (changing daily pending requirements)

**About the role**
- Working off conveyor belt system
- Sorting parcels
- Manual lifting (up to 20kg)
- RF scanning
- Loading/unloading trucks and containers
- Repetitive bending and lifting movements

**To be successful, you will possess the following**:

- Able to pass a urine based drug test, as well as alcohol test and physical assessment
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Freight Handling experience in logistics is highly desirable
- Own realiable transport and available for immediate start
- Must be able to provide a recent Criminal History check from within the past 3 months or willing to order
- Current resume with 2x recent work related referees
- Able to attend our Yeerongpilly office for an interview

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Darra, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
