The Medical Imaging (Radiology and Nuclear Medicine) Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse encompassing a range of age groups and speciality areas, with varying levels of patient acuity (outpatient, inpatient and critical care).

Medical Imaging Enrolled Nurses undertake comprehensive assessment and care of patients before, during and after diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. Our Enrolled Nurses are supported to develop speciality skills including procedural scouting and pre and post interventional radiology procedural care. A key role of the Medical Imaging Enrolled Nurse is to collaborate with different multidisciplinary team members (Radiographers, Radiologists, medical teams etc). Nurses maintain a patient centred approach, ensuring patients understand their procedure and post procedural requirements.

Medical Imaging Enrolled Nurses are required to participate in a 7-day rotating roster and the successful applicant will work a regular Monday and Friday shift roster and be required to be on call after hours roster following training.
